Disney Cruise Alcohol Policy 2026: How Much Wine & Beer You Can Bring

Updated 2026 rules for bringing wine or beer on Disney Cruise Line: carry-on limits, corkage fees, and age exceptions.

Looking for Disney Cruise alcohol policy 2026? Here is the current rule: each adult can bring a limited amount of wine or beer in their carry-on at embarkation and at every port of call.

Disney Cruise Line allows 2 unopened bottles of wine or sparkling wine (750ml) or 6 beers (12oz) per guest of legal drinking age. These must be packed in carry-on luggage and remain unopened when brought onboard.

The 2-Bottle / 6-Beer Rule (Carry-On Only)

  • Allowed at embarkation and each port of call
  • Maximum: 2 bottles of wine/sparkling (750ml) OR 6 beers (12oz) per guest of legal drinking age
  • Must be in carry-on, not checked bags
  • Must be unopened with original seals

Corkage Fee (If You Bring Wine to Dinner)

If you bring your own wine or sparkling wine into a dining room, Disney charges a $29 corkage fee per bottle. To avoid the fee, enjoy it in your stateroom or pour a glass before dinner.

What Happens to Alcohol Bought in Port

Liquor, spirits, or excess wine/beer purchased in port are typically held by Disney and returned at the end of the cruise.

Age Rules & International Exceptions

The standard onboard drinking age is 21. For certain round-trip sailings (including some departures from Australia and Singapore), the minimum age can be 18. Always confirm your specific itinerary in advance.
